Careers

We value candidates with moral fiber

HIRING PROCESS

1. Writing Test
The test will assess your ability to transcribe the given scenarios. It is essential for a security officer to be able to record the facts, since the inability to write is a liability for the company if the matter reaches court.

2. Interview
After processing your profiles, HR will thoroughly conduct interviews (in-person or video conference) to assess the candidates using psychological questionnaires and simulations. This helps HR in reaching a decision if the candidate is mentally strong to handle any practical situation while out in the field.

3. Background Check
Even though the security license holders have already gone through background checks, it is important for us as an employer to verify that we hire a person that does not have a criminal background or have a valid status in Canada or have a authentic Security License issued by Security Programs Division as it could directly affect our clients’ property, critical infrastructure, and our reputation.

4. Training
Candidates that clear the background checks then go through rigorous training such as Occupational First Aid (OFA – Level 1), Note-taking, Patrolling, Use of Radios, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Management of Aggressive Behaviour, Bomb Threats, Active Shooter, Defence Tactics, and so on. The training ensures the employees are equipped with essential skills, knowledge, and motivation to provide best-in-class customer service.

5. Field Deployment
After the training, the employees are eligible to work in the field as they will be able to assess, plan, and act in an efficient way. Every site is assessed for safety hazards and an Occupational Health & Safety Rulebook is constructed. Before the deployment, the site supervisors will conduct an orientation for the new employees on the site. During the orientation, the new employees will learn about the Site-Specific Occupational Health & Safety Rules.
